Hello, guys! Another interesting lesson I learned today in my English class was about gerunds. I learned that a gerund is the -ing form of a verb that functions as a noun in a sentence. Examples of gerunds: - swimming - reading - walking - painting - running Here are ways on how to use gerunds in sentences: Gerunds as Subjects: - Swimming is a great way to stay fit. - Reading improves your vocabulary. - Traveling broadens your perspective. Gerunds as Objects: - I enjoy listening to music. - She dislikes waking up early. - They finished painting the house. Gerunds after Prepositions: - He is good at drawing. - They talked about moving to a new city. - She apologized for being late.
